I have at last have just carried out my second treatment to my Tattoo on my hip! I would nt have left it this long but have been so busy with running Classs and Parties with Panther Pole Dancing that I have not had chance to be able to carry out the treatment, and have a few days for the area to recover-as I am sure you can imagine, performing and teaching Pole tricks and moves can be quite challenging while waiting for this particular area to heal, as it is quite often used as a grip and contact point with the Pole!!

The treatment went well and it feels good to have just done it at long last!
As before, I applied a topical anaesthetic to numb the area, covered with barrier film, and left to be absorbed for approx. 30 – 40 mins (this can vary depending on the solution used).

image 026 is after the rejuvi solution used has dried and settled into a protective crust

I will expect the crust to be intact for approx 2 weeks, whilst more of the Tattoo Pigment is drawn out of the skin.

I will update you soon!

For the first couple of weeks after losing the crust, it felt slightly itchy when any clothing brushed against it and was obviously tempting to itch it but I managed to resist so as not to damage the area whilst it was healing.
It now feels a lot less bumpy and itchy as the skin has almost finished the healing process and is pretty much back to normal-only a few more weeks before the next treatment!!

I left the area un-covered as much as possible to aid healing, although obviously had to use waterproof dressings when showering, still taking extra care not to let the water hit the treated area at all for the first 7 days to avoid infection.

2 weeks after first treatment: protective crust has started to ‘ift’aay from the origional tattoo, some small parts have fallen away on their own. This was the stage that i would have been at the most risk of catching the crust on clothing, or the temptation to pull it off, but have made sure it is in tact so as not to risk scarring.

Whilst the protective crust is still over the treated area, you need to think about what clothing you can wear; for example, I have found it impossible to wear jeans for the last 2 weeks as they would have ben to heavy and rubbed on the tattoo. I’ve found skirts and trousers much easier as you can get away with having the top button undone to give more room for movement around my waist.

It is worth thinking about what you are wearing when you come to have a treatment carried out; if you are having a tattoo removal done on your shoulder, can you wear a different style bra that wont rub? If you are having an ankle/leg treated, dont come in boots!!

After completing my diploma in E-raze non-lazer tattoo removal, I decided to get to work on a tattoo that I have, and have been wanting to remove for years.
Like many of us, I had the origional tattoo done some years ago, regretted it, had a ‘cover-up’ tattoo done, which looked ok but I still was’nt overly happy, so decided to have yet another cover up done a couple of years ago.
I effectively now am removing three tattoos on top of each other, and so thought it would be interesting to chart the progress as it may or may not take an additional treatment than the usual average of 3-4 to completely remove.

origional tattoo before first treatment

Anaesthetic is applied, covered, and left for between 30-60 minutes

Anaesthetic is removed and first treatment of Rejuvi is applied. As you can see, this immediately starts to draw the tattoo pigment up and out of the epidermis to the surface where it immediately begins to form a protective and deep set crust…THIS MUST NOT BE KNOCKED, PICKED OR DISTURBED!!

The treated area is then dried and clients would have a protective dressing spplied to see them home.
